匆匆度过了2020的前九个月，当秋寒悄然提前，这才惊觉已经中秋了。
Time flies! The first nine months of 2020 has passed in a hurry, and the Mid-Autumn Festival had already arrived quietly.
今年的中秋节也恰好是国庆节
This year’s Mid-autumn Festival also happens to be the National Day
“独在异乡为异客，每逢佳节倍思亲”
I'm a stranger in a foreign land, and I miss my relatives every holiday.
10月1日（农历八月十五）当天夜里，汉语国际推广茶文化传播基地举办了一次朴实的中秋茶会。游子同聚品茶赏月，以慰藉思乡之情。活动时，中外同学们热切的讨论自己故乡的节日习俗，欣赏古琴演奏，分享中秋节相关的故事；留学生们对中国神话故事有着浓厚兴趣；一些胆大的同学还在玻璃房子里看起了恐怖片。
On the night of October 1st (August 15th of the lunar calendar). A lovely Mid-Autumn Festival tea party was held at the International Tea Culture Base. Foreign students and Chinese students gather together to taste tea, to enjoy friendship and the beautiful moon. During the event, students from both parties eagerly discussed the festival customs of their hometown, appreciated the guqin performance, and shared stories about the Mid-Autumn Festival. International students have a keen interest in Chinese myths and stories. Some brave students also watched horror movies at this special night.
Chang Er Flies to the Moon
One Tang Dynasty myth holds thatthe Earth once had 10 sunscircling it. One day all 10 suns appeared at once, scorching the planet withtheir heat. It was thanks to a skillful archer named Hou Yi that the Earth was saved. He shot down all but one of the suns. As his reward, the HeavenlyQueengave Hou Yi the Elixir of Immortality, but she warned him that he must useit wisely. However,the Elixir was only enough for one person and Houyi was reluctant to leave his beloved wife alone on the earth so he gave the elixir to Chang’er to preserve and wanted to seek anotherone for his wife.Chang’er carefully storedit in a wooden box while her action was peeked by the evil Fengmeng-one of hishusband’s adherents.
No sooner as Houyi left his house.Fengmeng knocked into the courtyard where Chang’er wasworking. He wielded his glitter sword and threatened Chang’er to give him the Elixir .As soon as she took it, chang’er flew from her house toward the heave and finally landed on themoon. In the evening when Hou Yi returned home from bumperhunting.It's too late.He lost his wife.Chang'er decides to live on the moon because it is nearest to the earth. There she lives a simple and contented life. Even though she is in Heaven, her heart remains in the world of mortals. Never does she forget the deep love she has for Hou Yi.
嫦娥奔月
这是一个从唐代流传开来的故事。传说从前世上有十个太阳，烈日炎炎晒死了庄稼，晒干了土地。多亏了一位叫后羿的英雄射下了九个太阳，只留了其中一个，大地终于得救。王母娘娘将不死药作为奖励赠与了后羿，并告诫他谨慎利用。然而不死药只有一份，后羿放不下他唯一的妻子嫦娥，于是把不死药交给嫦娥收藏。他想为嫦娥也找一份不死药。嫦娥把药藏在梳妆的木匣中，但这一切被后羿的徒弟——可恶的蓬蒙看到了。
当后羿离开家，嫦娥在家劳作时。蓬蒙敲开了门，提着剑威胁嫦娥交出不死药。嫦娥不愿给他，就自己吞下了不死药。一瞬间，她身体越来越轻，飞出了房子，飞向天空。傍晚，后羿打猎归家，一切已经发生了，他永远失去了妻子。嫦娥决定住在离地面最近的月亮上，过着简朴的生活。尽管她身在天庭，但她心里想着的确是人间的一切。她永远都不会忘记并深爱着后羿。
“但愿人长久，千里共婵娟”
